Ella Berio

​

Ella brings a wealth of knowledge and key leadership experience from her prior roles.  Most recently, Ella was the Chief Executive officer of William F. Williams CO, a Columbus Ohio Food Brokerage company.   Since 2001 Ella led the charge of supplying the state of Ohio through bids and contracts.  She was the principal level liaison between the State of Ohio and national food manufacturing companies.  Since 2001 Ella has been in charge of finding bids or contracts, coordinating shipments, and successfully invoicing the State of Ohio.  From state contracts to individual bids Ella has grew the company to $3.4 million in sales. 

 

Before becoming a food broker Ella was director of promotions for Radio One of Boston.   Radio One owned five different radio stations in the New England area.  Ella and her team were challenged to promote to people outside of their  core demographic.  Her most successful promotion was for WBOS Earth Feast of 1998. That year 125,000 fans filled the famous Boston Hatch Shell for a day of music, environmental awareness, and family fun along the banks of the Charles river. At the time it was one of the largest event of its kind in the Northeast.   The day was a huge success and brought much needed brand awareness to the Radio One stations.

 

Ella graduated from Boston College with dual degrees in Marketing and Communications, and Information Technology. 

 

When not working Ella is a proud wife of Jose Berio, and a mother of two, her stepson Jesus (age 18) and daughter Elissa (age 4), both are terrific kids and a true joy to be around.
